John C Tolbert
Principal / Managing Director
John Tolbert brings tremendous experience in resorts, private clubs and hospitality to his position as Principal and Managing Director of Revelation Consultancy, LLC, a global business consulting firm with emphasis on Resort and Residential Real Estate, Private Clubs and Hospitality.
Early in his career, John was part of the sales team that created and launched Hyatt Resorts of Hawaii. Later, John led the team of Sales and Marketing executives in the opening of one of the most significant resort developments in the Caribbean, the El Conquistador Resort and Club, a 300 acre resort on the northeast tip of the island of Puerto Rico. He established his passion for resort real estate with the opening of Las Casitas Village, a cliff-top whole ownership villa hotel development that was the first to earn the AAA Five Diamond award in the Caribbean.
As Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Wayne Huizenga’s Boca Resorts, Inc. (BRI), John played a key role in the success of seven iconic luxury resort hotels, six private clubs and three luxury yacht marinas. Following the sale of the public company to Blackstone, John was recruited to become President of Sales and Marketing for this hotel group and launch the LXR brand of luxury hotels. He also spent several years in Resort Operations, as Hotel Manager of the Five-Star, Five Diamond Ritz-Carlton Naples.
Throughout his career, John has been at the forefront of envisioning and creating branded residential resorts and has brought his expertise in hospitality, amenities, golf, ski, spas, marinas, and food and beverage concepts to such noted brands as Mandarin Oriental Hotels and Residences, Auberge Resorts, Rosewood Hotels and Residences, Fairmont/Raffles Hotels & Resorts, Viceroy Hotels, Resorts and Residences, Golden Door Spa, Jack Nicklaus Design Group’s Clubs & Lodges, Kiawah Development Group, and St. Regis Hotels, Resorts and Residences. To complement his diverse background in the resort and private club business, he spent several years working as Executive Vice President for one of the top mixed-use real estate marketing and sales organizations, handling residential and resort development projects in Florida and the Caribbean. A noted industry expert on transforming and repositioning hospitality and real estate assets, he is a popular speaker on “Modern New Luxury.”
John joined Talisker Corporation in Park City, Utah as Chief Sales, Marketing and Club Officer and launched the Talisker Club and several residential, mixed-use alpine and golf course developments in Deer Valley; Tuhaye and The Canyons .. John’s team was retained by Archon Capital to oversee the sales and marketing of The Waldorf-Astoria Park City Hotel and Residences. In 2010 John was retained by Deutsche Bank and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas to aid and advise in the execution of TCOLV’s celebrated Grand Opening event and New Years Eve celebrity world premier and to provide expertise on brand postioning, publicity, public relations and social media strategy for the resort hotel. Over the past 24 months alone, John has been intimately involved in the successful repositioning and sale of Paseo Caribe; Puerto Rico’s first integrated mix use retail and entertainment center with three luxury residential towers. The El San Juan Hotel & Casino, Wailea Beach Marriott Hotel, Waikoloa Beach Marriott Hotel and the New York Palace Hotel. Over $1.5 Billion in transactions. Current and past clients to the Consultancy include: Falcon Investors, Firesky Capital, Noble House Hotels & Resorts, Blackstone, Northwood Investors, Caribbean Properties Group Real Estate, Summit Series, Summit Powder Mountain, Goldman Sachs, IMI living, Michael Douglas & Olympic Property Partners – Arial Sands Bermuda, and Leon – Mayer.
John’s ultimate dream has been to combine his diversified experience with resorts, clubs and real estate into his own business. He launched Revelation Consultancy, LLC, which plays a key role helping developers, owners, financial institutions and management companies make crucial decisions on vision, strategy, marketing, sales, operations and organization. John and his Consultancy are uniquely effective at providing short and long-term consultation at the top level and at providing a total solution from a tactical and implementation perspective. He is one of the few to navigate and continue to be successful in distressed and opportunistic markets.
John holds an EMBA and is passionate about providing clients the ultimate experience in travel and real estate. He credits his success to his diverse background, his focus on developing and delivering the brand promise and a sound understanding of the relationship between financial institutions, developers, owners, managers, and the constituents they serve.

Craig H. Eddins
Partner and Director
Craig Eddins is a highly-experienced real estate and hospitality executive with a forte in the development, sales, marketing and consulting of resorts, luxury residential, mixed-use and master-planned communities. Over the past three decades, Craig has worked with some of the most recognizable brand names in the world, specifically across the United States and the Caribbean.
Currently, Craig consults on high-end resort and residential real estate developments in the Caribbean and North America, recently including Jack’s Bay on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas, Sugar Beach, a luxury resort in St. Lucia, and Waterstone Resort & Marina in Boca Raton.
Previously, Craig led the marketing and sales of three luxury properties in Barbados for IMI Worldwide. As Managing Director, Craig spearheaded the brand refresh of St. Peter’s Bay Luxury Resort and Residences, which resulted in five times more revenue in sales than the year prior to his involvement. Through his partnership at Revelation Consultancy, he was instrumental in the rebranding of the Port Ferdinand Yacht and Beach Club to the Montage’s Pendry Barbados and the expansion from 46 resort residences to over 150.
Craig’s extensive experience also involved Paseo Caribe in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Through his leadership, the mixed-use lifestyle center went from bankruptcy and a special situation loan to relaunch on the market. Along with owners and lenders, Craig oversaw the entire rebrand, including sales and marketing, envisioning, retail and product development, including the El Mercado de Paseo Caribe development, a new culinary and entertainment experience. Through Craig’s leadership, three luxury residential towers totaling 150 residences sold out at an unprecedented price per square foot, exceeding the market by nearly 20 percent and underwriting by nearly 50 percent. Additionally, Craig and his team developed the retail strategy for one of the most unique waterfront shopping and dining experiences in San Juan.
Early in Craig’s career, he was fortunate to work with two of the most significant hotel-casino operators in Las Vegas. As a Project Manager at Tiberti Construction Company, he began his development career managing the entire construction process through the installation of FF&E.
When he became a real estate broker with Diversified Interests, Craig worked with many noted developers that were involved with envisioning residential, commercial, and industrial real estate into Las Vegas as we know it today. Craig was engaged full-time by one of his clients, resulting in the creation of iconic projects such as Southern Highlands & Blue Diamond Ranches, while serving as Vice President of Real Estate for both the Olympia Group and Southern Highlands Development Corporation. This Southern Highlands community quickly grew into one of the most successful master-planned neighborhoods in the United States.
A large majority of Craig’s real estate experience involves the early days of Olympia Companies, while the company utilized land exchange opportunities in Nevada to acquire large tracks of developable land in Southern Nevada. During this time, Craig was responsible for managing the acquisition, planning, entitlements, and infrastructure development of land through the completion of the sales process to some of the most premier publicly traded and private luxury home builders in the industry. As the Olympia Group of companies grew from just five employees to over 250, his particular passion for creative envisioning through marketing and sales grew into what it is today.
Additionally, Craig founded, as a principal owner, Olympia Outdoor Media, a billboard company with over 70 billboard faces on interstate highways and major thoroughfares in southern Nevada. An entrepreneur at heart, Craig also developed a unique riverfront, fly-fishing and equestrian project just outside of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, as the owner-developer.
During the downturn of the real estate market, Craig partnered with Revelation Consultancy on real estate advisory and hospitality club business. Working with clients such as Blackstone, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, and other private equity and financial firms, Craig played a major role in assisting clients unlock value in existing distressed portfolios and asset classes.
Craig was also an owner and developer of several projects in the Las Vegas Valley, Western Wyoming and Eastern Idaho, including the Salt River Ranch in Star Valley, Wyoming. Along with real estate, he also envisioned, owned and operated highly successful bars and restaurants in Park City, Utah and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Craig attended the International School of Bern Switzerland and studied marketing at the University of Nevada, Reno and Hotel Administration at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
Dedicated to giving back, Craig has volunteered his time as an Honorary Commander for the Nellis AFB Support Team. Craig was the airshow director and promoter of the Puerto Rican International Air Show, where he was proud to bring the USAF Thunderbirds to San Juan Puerto Rico. He has also been involved in the Southern Highlands Charitable Foundation and was a board member of the Ducks Unlimited Nevada along with other nature-related conservancies.
